From sturdy corrugated boxes for shipping to lightweight papers, jars and a variety of plastics, a diverse packaging mix is in use across our global business. A significant portion of our packaging portfolio is currently not contributing to a circular economy. As a result, we’re rethinking our approach to packaging, because we believe that there is no such thing as a sustainable product in unsustainable packaging.

We’re proud of our products, but deeply concerned about the impact of packaging waste on land and in the ocean. In October 2019, we announced a new set of Circular Packaging Plans, aligned with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastic Economy Commitment, of which we are a signatory.
