No applications will be accepted after the deadline
First, Mars Associates will screen all of the applications received. Then, they’ll evaluate the applications, based on the evaluation criteria located on The Challenge Page, and select a maximum of 10 teams to move on to the finals. Mars is looking for 6 segment focused ideas (2 per segment–Food, Pet and Candy) and 4 cross-segment focused ideas.
August 13th
You’ll find out if you made it into the finals! Even if you’re not selected, we’ll let you know and your information will be shared with the Mars recruiting team.
Mars may ask you for more information about your idea or why you decided to apply!
Date TBD
We’ll host virtual coaching sessions about how to deliver the perfect pitch so you can WOW the Mars Executives! You’ll also have 1-on-1 time with our team to hone your presentation before the big day.
September 17th
THIS IS IT! It’s your time to shine! You’ll virtually pitch your idea to a small group of Mars Executives and answer their questions. The winners will be announced at the end of the event.

The top 5 teams will receive a cash prize.
The winning entry will receive a $6,000 prize. Second place will receive a $4,000 prize, third place will receive $3000, and 4th/5th place teams will each receive $2000. We are also awarding special recognition to the team with the best creativity– the WILDCARD.
